Neighborhood FAQs

Helpful Information

Residents do not have a choice about the water supplier.  However, residents do have options with other utility and service providers.  If a service provider is listed, it is for convenience and information only and not an endorsement or promotion for the company.  Most of the companies listed are known providers in the neighborhood. 

Water Services

Water is provide by Undine LLC.  Residents may contact Undine to establish service and set up online billing and payment options.

Trash Services

Residents are responsible for setting up their own trash services.  


Effective April 1, 2026, the City of Iowa Colony is using Best Trash to serve all of Iowa Colony.  Magnolia Bend HOA residenst will need to call Best Trash to establish accounts and schedule trash/recycle bin delivery.  


Trash Pickup is Monday and Thursdays.  Recycling is 1st/3rd Wednesday of each month.


Residents may still utilize AmeriWaste or other trash hauler.

OSS (On Site Sewer)/Septic

Residents/Owners are responsible for maintaining an annual service contract with a certified  septic service company.

Electricity

Centerpoint Energy owns the distribution lines to the neighborhood.  Customers are free to choose their own billing provider.

Street Light Outage - Report Online

If the street light near your house is out or dim, you can report the outage to Centerpoint.  There is an online tool to find the street light closest to your house or you can enter the pole number manually.

Propane

Residents may choose their propane provider if they own their propane tanks.  Leased propane tanks are required to be filled by the tank owner (e.g., Bay Gas).

Hotspot options through your local cellular service company.
